A specialized team of female soldiers must infiltrate a hostile region to rescue kidnapped girls during the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan.
The story
During the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan, terrorists storm a girls' school in Quetta, Pakistan, capturing several students, including the daughter of Afghanistan's Minister of Education. After a failed Delta Force rescue attempt, the U.S. military devises a new plan to recruit Jake, a female soldier, to lead a specialized team of skilled women. Posing as medical personnel, the team—which includes specialists in mechanics, technology, weapons, and explosives—infiltrates the region to negotiate the release of the hostages and a specific prisoner.
Full plot (contains spoilers)
During the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan, terrorists capture several girls at a school in Quetta, Pakistan, demanding $10 million ransom per hostage and the release of Sheik Al-Shimali. After a failed Delta Force mission, the U.S. military assembles a team of women led by Jake, including specialists like Rocky (mechanic), Geek (technician), Shooter (weapons), and The Bomb (explosives). They pose as medical personnel and are aided by the Afghan Minister of Education. The team raids a weapons cache but suffers casualties, including Dr. Mike and Travis, and discovers a local contact, Awina, is a mole. They successfully rescue Sheik Al-Shimali but lose Rocky. After a failed negotiation involving counterfeit money, they launch a final assault on a cave base. Jake kills the terrorist leader while The Bomb leads the girls to safety. They evacuate the hostages by helicopter, but several team members are lost. The film ends with Jake and Malik choosing to return for Geek, who stayed behind to cover their escape.
