During a bank robbery, Harry confronts a thief with his .44 Magnum, famously asking, 'Do I feel lucky?' He is assigned a rookie partner, Chico Gonzalez. The investigation leads them to a series of crimes, including the murder of a young boy. Scorpio eventually kidnaps a teenager, Ann Mary Deacon, and demands $200,000. Harry is sent to deliver the money, but the exchange turns violent, and Chico is shot. Harry eventually tracks Scorpio to Kezar Stadium and a school bus.
