Full plot (contains spoilers)

Amidst a looming nuclear threat, cybersecurity expert Dr. Daniel Kellner steals 'The Archive' and extraterrestrial technology from the Wardex Corporation. He flees with his girlfriend, Jane Blankenship, to a nearby convent. Simultaneously, Kansas City meteorologist Margaret Fairchild develops psychic abilities after a bird flies into her home, causing her to speak an unknown language during a live broadcast. This alerts Wardex to her presence. Daniel and Margaret eventually connect, realizing they were both abducted by extraterrestrials as children and granted complementary powers. They join Hugo Wakefield and a team of defectors to broadcast the truth. During a final confrontation at a television station, they successfully broadcast 'Disclosure Day' to the world. The broadcast includes a message from an elderly extraterrestrial, and the world stops to witness the evidence of alien life, seemingly halting the impending war.
