Two high school outcasts form an alliance to systematically dismantle the reputations of those who wronged them.

The story

Drea, a popular scholarship student at an elite Miami high school, becomes a social pariah after an intimate video she sent to her boyfriend, Max, is leaked online. While struggling with her ruined reputation and behavioral probation, she meets Eleanor, a shy girl who was also ostracized by a false rumor. The two girls realize they can never achieve justice alone and decide to team up to exact revenge on their respective tormentors. Eleanor undergoes a makeover to infiltrate Drea's old social circle, while Drea seeks to get close to the girl who ruined Eleanor's reputation.

Full plot (contains spoilers)

Drea, a popular student at Rosehill Country Day High School, is ostracized after an intimate video she sent to her boyfriend, Max, is leaked. Max claims he was hacked, but Drea blames him, leading to their breakup and her loss of social status. While working at a tennis camp, she meets Eleanor, who was also bullied due to a false rumor. The two girls agree to help each other: Drea will target Carissa (who spread the rumor about Eleanor), and Eleanor will target Max. Eleanor infiltrates Drea's old clique, while Drea works at the school farm to get close to Carissa. They discover Carissa is growing drugs and Max is cheating. They plot to drug the school's Senior Ring Ceremony and leak Max's texts. However, the plan hits complications when Drea is rejected from Yale and Max publishes a fabricated story about her. Drea concocts a final plan to expose Max at an Admissions Party. During the plot, it is revealed that Eleanor is actually 'Nosey' Nora, the girl Drea had previously bullied. The girls eventually reconcile, and Eleanor secretly films Max confessing to leaking Drea's video. They project the confession at the party, ruining Max's reputation and getting him expelled. Drea is offered Max's spot at Yale but rejects it, and the two girls drive off together.
