A visually opulent reimagining of the classic vampire tale explores the tragic, centuries-long bond between a cursed count and his reincarnated love.
The story
Set in 19th-century England and Romania, the film follows Count Dracula, a powerful vampire who becomes obsessed with Mina Murray, the fiancée of his solicitor Jonathan Harker. As Dracula begins to wreak havoc in London, the situation escalates, prompting the summoning of Professor Abraham Van Helsing, an expert in vampirism. Van Helsing is tasked with stopping the Count's reign of terror. The narrative weaves together the historical origins of the vampire's curse and the immediate threat he poses to the people of London, as the hunters and the hunted collide in a high-stakes battle of supernatural forces.
