Full plot (contains spoilers)
Violet Gates, a widow, is on a date with Henry Campbell at a restaurant when she begins receiving threatening 'Digi-Drops' from an unknown user. The user reveals they are watching her home via security cameras and threatens to kill her son, Toby, unless she complies with instructions. Violet discovers Henry has evidence of embezzlement and is being targeted by the sender, who is revealed to be Richard, a man on the mayor's payroll. Richard intends to frame Violet for the murder of Henry. After a series of tense moments where others in the restaurant are harmed or killed, Violet manages to outmaneuver Richard, who falls to his death after a confrontation. She then rushes home to face a henchman who was sent to kill her family. She ultimately defeats the henchman, and the film ends with a resolution where Henry is prosecuted for his findings and Violet and Henry plan a second date.
