Paule Zachmann, a 49-year-old philosophy professor, is depressed but cannot explain the reasons for her melancholy. Her partner decides to take a step back from their relationship, leaving Paule without an answer for months, until one day she sees him with a very young, lively woman. Confiding in her sister, she follows her advice and signs up for an online dating site. From then on, “Antigone,” though hesitant, meets a wide variety of men and soon begins to take some pleasure in certain relationships, without finding satisfaction beyond mere physical pleasure.
