Ein Geschenk des Himmels (2005)

Susanne is the single mother of eight-year-old Tim. She wants to marry Peter Pfefferle, but Tim is not enthusiastic about his new father and prays for help from heaven. The next morning, a stranger is sitting at the harmonium in the prayer room of the Pietist congregation. But Johnny has not come as an angel. He is a lawyer from Frankfurt who has returned to his hometown because he believes he inherited the religious community’s building from his mother. Now he wants to drive the congregation out because the womanizer needs the money. However, Susanne is the heir to the building, since she took care of the old woman. But Johnny is determined to fight for his inheritance. In time, the two grow increasingly fond of each other and fall in love.
