The story
In an unnamed Latin American country ruled by a strict dictatorship, political prisoner Arístides escapes from prison with another inmate. Their flight puts them in the path of Zancho, a bloodthirsty guard, and his vicious dog, who pursue the fugitives. Arístides's companion is an elderly professor carrying very important information. The escapees must try to get away while the professor's information remains beyond the reach of groups opposed to the government.
