Electric Girl (2019)

Mia is the voice actor for the anime heroine “Kimiko,” and also works part-time as a bartender at a trendy bar in Hamburg. After receiving an electric shock at the bar, she becomes increasingly immersed in her cartoon character and takes on her mission to save the world. Because of her lateness and idiosyncratic interpretations, she is fired from the voice-acting job, while at the same time discovering that she has superpowers. Her outfit attracts attention, and she is able to save a man’s life. During a visit to her seriously ill father, she steals medical equipment that she needs to save the world. She climbs onto a factory building and catches a gigantic lightning bolt. She then falls into the water, but is rescued by Kristof, who lives in her building.
