Realizing she is being watched and trapped by his control, Slim must find a way to escape his reach and protect her daughter from his escalating violence.
Full plot (contains spoilers)
After Mitch foils her initial escape attempt and freezes her bank accounts, Slim flees to Seattle to stay with an ex-boyfriend, Joe. She eventually seeks help from her estranged, wealthy father, Jupiter, who provides her with funds and a new identity. Despite being hunted by Mitch and his corrupt accomplice, Robbie, Slim eventually goes into hiding in San Francisco. She sends her daughter to safety and trains in Krav Maga to prepare for a final confrontation. She lures Mitch to her location, where they engage in a violent struggle. Slim eventually overpowers him, knocking him off a balcony to his death. The police rule her actions as self-defense, and she reunites with her daughter to live in Seattle.
