Entführen für Anfänger (2024)

Adam Lansky works as an accountant in surgeon Dr. Robert Moser’s beauty empire for almost forty years. When he is replaced by an AI, he decides to kidnap Moser’s glamorous wife, Evelyn, at a public event. He is hoping for a quick ransom. But Evelyn is far more resolute than Adam expects. Robert Moser, in turn, shows little interest in getting his wife back—he wants to replace her with the younger influencer Lene anyway. Evelyn sees through the situation and eventually joins forces with her kidnapper so they can empty Moser’s offshore accounts together. The story develops from a classic kidnapping comedy into an absurd thriller in which the roles of perpetrator and victim constantly shift.
