Eros Center Hamburg (1969)

Hamburg, on the entertainment strip in the red-light district. One day, the young Biggy is found murdered at the Eros Center, and everyone who was there that day is suspected of committing the bloody crime. The main suspects include Biggy’s Italian boyfriend, Riccardo, with whom she had a row the night before and whom she had then loudly thrown out; a lawyer who had turned up at the prostitute’s with his abnormal desires; and the American journalist Eddy Green, who wanted to gather material on site for a sensationalist “behind-the-scenes report.” Then there is also an older regular customer whom everyone calls “Professor” and who first examines the girls while wearing rubber gloves before trying to give them an injection. The mysterious Baron von Schleck from the provinces is also among the suspects, since his wife, armed with an umbrella, had recently caught him in the act of having sex. Last but not least, there is a group of depraved and brutal pimps who wanted Biggy for one of their perverse private shows in the homes of wealthy clients. Biggy’s colleagues at the Eros Center are acting more than strangely, too. Detective Chief Inspector Peters certainly has his work cut out for him. In the end, he comes up with a surprising solution to the case.
