F.C. De Kampioenen: Kampioen zijn blijft plezant (2013)

The Champions are invited by Albert Tartuffe, an old friend of chairman Boma, to play a friendly match in Provence against the local team, Saint-Tintin. Tartuffe tries to sell Boma a wine estate that a fabulously wealthy sheikh wants to get rid of. Boma is planning to move to France with Goedele and quit the Champions. What Boma doesn’t know is that the wine château is worthless, because a TGV line is going to run through the area. The youngest Champions player, Ronald(inho), is used as a bargaining chip in the deal after the sheikh mistakes him for the Brazilian superstar Ronaldinho. The Champions set off on their trip in Fernand Costermans’s dilapidated van, and everything goes completely wrong. On the way, the Champions leave Carmen behind, and she then sets out on a long journey by herself. Doortje and Pol have only recently married. Doortje has decided to go to Lourdes for their honeymoon, at the same time as the Champions are travelling to France. Pol therefore sabotages the honeymoon so he can go to Provence after all. When Doortje finds out in France, she is furious and leaves for a convent. Bieke has an affair after getting fed up with Marc’s childish behavior. Fernand also takes a pig along to France to search for truffles. On the way, Ronaldinho meets Carlita. He takes her with him to France and falls in love with her. But Carlita is hiding something. When they arrive in Saint-Tintin, the sheikh kidnaps Ronald because Ronald has uncovered Tartuffe and the sheikh’s true plans for the château. The Champions go undercover at a party hosted by the sheikh to rescue Ronald.
