Four individuals gain extraordinary abilities after exposure to cosmic rays and must learn to master their powers while facing a vengeful adversary.

The story

After a scientific mission to study cosmic energy in space goes awry, four individuals are exposed to radiation and develop extraordinary physical abilities. While the team—consisting of Reed Richards, Susan Storm, Johnny Storm, and Ben Grimm—struggles to adapt to their new forms, they are thrust into the public eye after a chaotic incident on the Brooklyn Bridge. Meanwhile, their colleague Victor von Doom, who was also affected by the radiation, faces the fallout of the failed mission and begins to harbor a growing resentment toward the others. The group must now find a way to manage their powers and navigate their new roles as the 'Fantastic Four' while dealing with the consequences of the accident.

Full plot (contains spoilers)

Dr. Reed Richards, Ben Grimm, and Victor von Doom embark on a mission to a space station to study cosmic energy. When a storm strikes, the four individuals are exposed to radiation, granting them powers: Reed can stretch, Susan can turn invisible and create force fields, Johnny can ignite on fire, and Ben transforms into a rock-like creature. While the public hails them as the 'Fantastic Four' after they save lives on the Brooklyn Bridge, Ben's personal life is shattered as his fiancée leaves him. Meanwhile, Victor, whose body is beginning to turn into organic metal, becomes increasingly unstable and vengeful. Reed attempts to find a cure for their conditions, but tensions rise as the team's dynamics shift. Victor eventually kidnaps Reed and attacks the Baxter Building, where the team must unite to stop him. In a final confrontation, they use their combined powers to defeat Doom, who is then transported to his homeland of Latveria. In the aftermath, Ben accepts his condition and finds love with Alicia Masters, while the team embraces their roles as superheroes.
