The story
Following a successful heist in Brazil, Dominic Toretto and his crew are approached by DSS agent Luke Hobbs. Hobbs offers the team a pardon for their crimes if they assist him in capturing Owen Shaw, a former British SAS Major who leads a mercenary organization. Shaw is currently stealing components to construct 'Nightshade,' a powerful electromagnetic pulse weapon. The team must navigate a series of dangerous encounters across international borders to intercept the mercenaries and stop the weapon from falling into the wrong hands.

After a heist in Brazil, Dom, Brian, and their crew are offered pardons by DSS agent Luke Hobbs to help capture Owen Shaw, a mercenary leader who is building an EMP weapon called 'Nightshade.' The team tracks Shaw's operations from London to a Spanish military base. During the conflict, it is revealed that Letty, a member of Shaw's crew, is suffering from amnesia and is being kept by him. The team eventually confronts Shaw's forces on a moving plane. During the final battle, Gisele sacrifices herself to save Han, and Letty manages to kill a traitorous agent. The team successfully secures the 'Nightshade' chip and returns to Los Angeles. In a mid-credits scene, Han is involved in a car crash in Tokyo, where a mysterious driver leaves Letty's necklace and warns Dom.
