Dominic Toretto and FBI agent Brian O'Conner must team up to avenge a murder and take down a drug lord.
The story
After escaping Los Angeles and hiding in the Dominican Republic, Dominic Toretto and his crew are forced into a new conflict when Toretto's girlfriend, Letty, is murdered. Dom returns to Los Angeles to investigate the crime, where he discovers a connection to a high-stakes drug smuggling operation. Simultaneously, FBI agent Brian O'Conner is attempting to track down a dangerous Mexican drug lord, Arturo Braga. The paths of the two men collide as they are forced into an uneasy alliance to navigate the dangerous world of illegal street racing and international drug trafficking to find the truth behind the murder and stop the drug lord's operations.

After living in the Dominican Republic for five years, Dominic Toretto learns his girlfriend Letty has been murdered. He returns to Los Angeles and discovers a link to a drug smuggling ring involving a specific car. He encounters FBI agent Brian O'Conner, who is also hunting drug lord Arturo Braga. The two men enter a street race to win a spot on Braga's smuggling team. Dom wins and joins the team, eventually discovering that the henchman Fenix Calderon is responsible for Letty's death. After a tense standoff and a high-speed chase involving a hijacked truck of heroin, Dom and Brian realize they are being set up. They eventually travel to Mexico to confront Braga. In a final confrontation, Dom kills Fenix, and while Brian is left behind, Dom is captured by authorities and sentenced to prison. Brian eventually reunites with Dom's sister and other friends to find him.
