A man's casual fling in Las Vegas spirals into a deadly game of manipulation and murder when the woman he met becomes a detective investigating his life.
The story
Derrick Tyler, a successful sports management agency owner in Los Angeles, leads a strained marriage and faces pressure from his business partner to sell their company. During a business trip to Las Vegas, Derrick has a casual encounter with a woman who eventually coerces him into staying in her hotel room. Upon returning to Los Angeles, Derrick is targeted by a masked burglar. The investigating detective, Valerie Quinlan, is revealed to be the woman from Las Vegas. She begins to manipulate Derrick, using his secrets to exert control over his life while pursuing her own desperate agenda.

Derrick Tyler, a sports management executive in Los Angeles, is struggling with a strained marriage and business pressures. While in Las Vegas, he has a fling with a woman who coerces him into staying the night by locking up his phone. Back in LA, Derrick is attacked by a burglar, and the investigating detective, Valerie Quinlan, is revealed to be the woman from Vegas. Valerie, desperate to regain custody of her daughter from her ex-husband Carter Heywood, begins stalking and manipulating Derrick. She reveals that Derrick's wife, Tracie, is cheating on him with his business partner, Rafe. After Derrick confronts them, Valerie reveals Tracie and Rafe have been murdered. She eventually frames Derrick for the murders. Derrick's cousin Tyrin attempts to force a confession from Valerie but is killed. Valerie then forces Derrick to help her kill Carter. In a final confrontation, Valerie admits to the murders and tries to kill Derrick to keep her daughter. They shoot each other, but Derrick manages to record her confession before she dies.
