Four years after the events of the first film, Annie announces she is pregnant, causing George to panic about his age as a grandfather. After a series of mishaps involving termites and a house sale, George and Nina find themselves staying in a mansion owned by Bryan's parents. As they navigate the complexities of simultaneous pregnancies, George struggles with his fears of aging while trying to manage the demands of their growing family and the renovation of a new nursery.

Full plot (contains spoilers)

Four years after the first film, Annie announces she is pregnant, leading to George's anxiety about his age. After selling their home due to termites, George and Nina stay with Bryan's parents but discover Nina is also pregnant. They meet their former wedding planner, Franck, who helps coordinate their plans. George becomes upset when he sees a demolition crew at their old house and manages to buy it back from Mr. Habib. Annie is offered a job in Boston, which Bryan eventually agrees to. George hires Franck to create a 'baby's suite' for the new arrivals. During the final weeks, Bryan is called away to Japan, leaving Annie in George and Nina's care. Franck's extensive renovations and the stress of sleep deprivation lead George to accidentally overdose on sleeping pills. After a chaotic trip to the hospital where George is briefly mistaken for a patient, both women give birth to a boy and a girl. George finds happiness holding his new grandchildren as the family prepares for their move to Boston.
