Feuer, Eis und Dosenbier (2002)

The two friends Josh and Türlich are immensely proud to be the laziest civilian service workers in the Ruhr area. Permanently stoned, the two cause more injuries with their ambulance than they save. Now they face military service, with all its unpleasant prospects. Pursued by the military police, the pair desert to the Austrian ski paradise of Ischgl, where Türlich spent the first years of his life with Heidi and his grandfather, the Alm-Öhi. There they soon become embroiled in a nasty plot: Türlich is the Alm-Öhi’s grandson and will therefore inherit the mountain. But American industrial magnate Tronald Dump wants to blow up the mountain and build a kind of “ski amusement park” on the site. After various attempts to bribe them with “babes” and appointing the two friends to the mountain rescue service, the pair eventually discover Dump’s plan and pursue him to his secret mountain fortress. Firmly believing that the Öhi is dead, Dump also kidnaps Heidi to make sure all the people who know about his scheme are out of the way. However, the Öhi turns up, swallows the bomb, and Türlich and Josh set off to catch up with Dump. All three race down a ski-jump ramp. Türlich and Josh manage to brake just in time, but Dump takes off and explodes on landing, setting a new ramp record. At the grand victory celebration, however, the German armed forces find the two fugitives again and ship them back to Wanne-Eickel. There, at the end, the two are stopped at a traffic light in a tank, ready to “show their pipe” to a few girls standing beside them.
