After a premonition of a roller coaster derailment, a group of survivors must navigate a series of fated deaths orchestrated by Death.

The story

High school graduate Wendy Christensen experiences a terrifying vision of a roller coaster derailment while riding the 'Devil's Flight' at an amusement park in Pennsylvania. After she manages to convince several friends to evacuate the ride, the coaster derails, and only a few survive. However, the survivors soon realize that Death is hunting them in a specific order. Alongside her friend Kevin Fischer, Wendy discovers that photographs she took at the park contain clues about their impending deaths. The pair must use these clues to identify and save the remaining survivors from a series of escalating, deadly occurrences as they attempt to outsmart Death's predetermined scheme.

Full plot (contains spoilers)

While celebrating their graduation at a Pennsylvania amusement park, Wendy Christensen has a premonition of a catastrophic roller coaster derailment. She convinces a group of friends to leave the 'Devil's Flight' just before it crashes, though she fails to save Jason and Carrie. Weeks later, Kevin Fischer informs Wendy of a pattern of deaths following survivors of previous disasters. After Ashley and Ashlyn are killed in tanning beds, Wendy and Kevin use photos from the amusement park to predict and prevent further deaths. They face a series of deadly incidents: Frankie is killed by an engine fan, Lewis is crushed by a weight machine, and while they attempt to save Ian and Erin, only Ian is saved before Erin is killed by a nail gun. At a tricentennial fair, they attempt to save Wendy's sister Julie and a friend, but Perry Malinowski is killed by a flagpole. After Wendy saves Kevin from an exploding propane canister, a fireworks display causes Ian to be bisected. Five months later, Wendy and her roommates are on a subway train. Wendy has another premonition of a crash, and the survivors attempt to stop the train as it appears to derail.
