A college student haunted by her grandmother's visions of a past disaster must confront the fact that Death is coming for her family.

The story

In 1969, Iris Campbell survives a catastrophic collapse of the Sky View observation tower after having a premonition of the event. Fifty-five years later, her granddaughter Stefani Reyes begins experiencing terrifying nightmares of the same incident. When Stefani seeks answers from her family, she discovers that her grandmother's survival disrupted Death's design, leaving the family marked. As Stefani tries to navigate the truth of her grandmother's warnings and the looming threat of a supernatural debt, she must confront the reality that Death is systematically coming for those in her bloodline.

Full plot (contains spoilers)

In 1969, Iris Campbell prevents the collapse of the Sky View tower but triggers a cycle where Death targets survivors and their descendants. In the present, her granddaughter Stefani Reyes experiences nightmares of the event. After learning of the danger from her grandmother's notes, Stefani tries to warn her family, but they are skeptical. A series of accidents begins to claim family members, including Howard and Julia. The family seeks out William Bludworth, who explains the rules of Death and how to potentially circumvent them. A failed attempt to 'reset' a family member leads to a tragic accident involving a malfunctioning MRI machine. During a desperate attempt to hide Darlene from Death at a remote cabin, a car crash and explosion occur. While Darlene is killed, Stefani is rescued by Charlie. However, a week later, a freight train derailment ultimately claims the lives of both siblings.
