A young girl is manipulated by a vengeful animatronic in a haunted pizza restaurant.
The story
Set a year and a half after the events of the first film, the story follows Abby Schmidt. She is manipulated by the Marionette, an animatronic from the original Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. This entity plots revenge against adults. As Abby interacts with the haunted technology, her brother Mike and others become entangled in the dangerous legacy of the franchise's past.

In 1982, Charlotte Emily is murdered by William Afton at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza and becomes the spirit of the Marionette. In 2002, the legend of these murders leads to 'Fazfest'. Abby Schmidt, seeking to connect with her 'ghostly friends,' asks her brother Mike to repair animatronics. When she eventually visits the original location, she is contacted by Toy Chica. Meanwhile, adult Vanessa Shelly struggles with her father's crimes. A group of ghost hunters, including Lisa, enter the original restaurant and accidentally awaken the Marionette, which possesses Lisa and takes control of the 'Toy' animatronics. These animatronics begin hunting parents as part of Charlotte's revenge. Mike eventually finds Abby and tries to protect her while facing off against the Withered animatronics. In a final confrontation, Mike and Vanessa manage to lull the Marionette to sleep to free Abby, but the ensuing chaos leads to the Marionette possessing Vanessa. The film ends with the animatronic suit containing William's body activating.
