The story
Apple, Fig, and Cherry are glamorous saleswomen at the Free Eden clothing store in a shopping mall in Dallas, Texas, where they scam customers into spending thousands of dollars. Their lives are disrupted when they are approached by a new girl named Pumpkin who works at a nearby food court. Despite their initial aversion to her, the trio's interest is piqued. After Pumpkin undergoes an awkward interview and is invited to stay after hours, the women reveal their secret identity as a coven of witches. They perform rituals in the store's basement, and after a mysterious initiation involving a concoction of fruit juice and blood, Pumpkin is left in the locked store to begin her transformation.

Apple, Fig, and Cherry are glamorous saleswomen at the Free Eden clothing store in a Dallas mall who secretly operate as a coven of witches. They take in a newcomer, Pumpkin, and initiate her into their rituals. As months pass, the girls' personal lives are revealed: Apple is a controlling figure living in her car, Cherry is struggling with sobriety, and Fig is trying to enter graduate school. Tensions rise when Pumpkin discovers the truth about the coven's past, including the fate of a former member named Pickle. A series of escalating conflicts and paranoia leads to a violent confrontation during a mall lockdown. Cherry is killed by a malfunctioning escalator, and Fig is killed by a falling skylight. In the final confrontation, Pumpkin reveals she is Apple's paternal half-sister seeking justice for their father's murder. Apple kills Pumpkin and flees to another mall, where she is recruited by a new group of girls. A post-credit scene reveals that the store's manager, Sharon, is an undercover detective who finds a recording doll at the crime scene.
