Two women and two girls find their lives turned upside down when a mystical event causes them to swap bodies.
The story
Twenty-two years after a body-swapping incident, Anna Coleman is a music producer raising her daughter Harper with the help of her mother, Tess. At school, Harper is often at odds with her classmate Lily. After a conflict in chemistry class leads to Anna and Lily's families becoming engaged, the two girls find themselves in a predicament regarding their future. During a gathering, a mysterious psychic and a sudden earthquake cause a magical swap: Anna and Tess switch bodies with Harper and Lily. The women must now navigate their new lives while trying to figure out how to reverse the situation before the upcoming wedding.

Twenty-two years after a body-swapping incident, music producer Anna Coleman and her mother Tess are engaged to Lily's father, Eric. When a psychic reading and an earthquake cause Anna and Tess to swap bodies with Harper and Lily, the four women must navigate their new identities. While the adults try to manage their roles as teenagers, the girls attempt to sabotage the wedding. After a series of complications involving a photoshoot, a confrontation at a rehearsal, and a realization of true feelings, the group realizes they must 'change their hearts' to switch back. They eventually perform a song together, and the swap is reversed. The film ends with the wedding proceeding and a humorous moment involving a photo of Tess's face.
