Full plot (contains spoilers)

While Adrian is staying overnight at Lilly’s and Katja is still asleep in the morning, someone breaks into Katja’s house. The unknown person (her stalker) turns on the faucets inside the house and puts on loud music. Katja wakes up and, to her horror, finds a package in the kitchen containing a severed pig’s head and an unmistakable threatening note: “If you don’t disappear soon, this will be your head.” On the way to the police station, Katja and the police officers come across a flock of sheep with neither shepherd nor dog. Meanwhile, Tom is preparing his planned marriage proposal: he asks Pastor Sonnleitner to help him by giving Katja two days off. Tom wants to propose to her at his house on Lake Garda. To lure her there, he tells her that the house is going to be sold. At first reluctant, they both travel to Italy. While out hiking, a group led by Roberta Rossi, a presenter and reporter for the local station Alpen-TV, discovers shepherd Heinrich von Ruhburg dead in a meadow. Fifteen years earlier, he had come to Frühling as a dropout and become a shepherd. Before that, he had been the chairman of the board of a chemical company listed on the DAX. His daughter Henrike Renner, who had had no contact with her father for years, comes from Munich to Frühling. She cannot hide her dislike of her father from Pastor Sonnleitner. He also realizes, however, that Henrike is very sad and has missed her father greatly, so the pastor gives Henrike a personal letter from her father. Katja is pleasantly surprised by the house on Lake Garda and is delighted by how Maria and Francesco Bianci have kept the property in order and provided food for the two of them. With his marriage proposal, Tom reveals that he never intended to sell the house, but wanted to show his beloved Katja a beautiful home. Katja accepts, and they become engaged.
