A high-stakes heist is hidden behind the public emergency of an unexploded bomb in London.

The story

When an unexploded bomb, believed to be from the Second World War, is discovered on a busy construction site in Paddington, the military and police cord_off the area. While Chief Superintendent Zuzana Greenfield manages the evacuation of the public, Major Will Tranter and his team are tasked with defusing the explosive. The operation becomes complicated when a timed trigger is discovered. Simultaneously, a group of robbers led by Giorgos Karalis infiltrates a nearby bank to steal jewelry and money. The two events collide as the police are forced to manage both the ticking bomb and the pursuit of the thieves in the midst of the chaos.

Full plot (contains spoilers)

An unexploded World War II bomb is discovered in Paddington, leading to a massive police and military operation. While Major Will Tranter attempts to defuse the bomb, he discovers a timed trigger and uses a magnetic clock stopper. Nearby, Giorgos Karalis and his team, X, Y, and Z, rob the Bank Al Muraqabah. The robbery is detected by a police drone, forcing the police to chase the robbers while simultaneously managing the bomb. The clock stopper fails, and the bomb detonates, but no lives are lost. The robbers escape to a countryside safe-house, where Karalis is betrayed by his own associates and eventually rescued by Tranter after a violent confrontation. It is later revealed that Tranter and Karalis were working together to steal diamonds, using the bomb as a diversion. The two men, along with a third accomplice, Rahim, flee the UK and reunite in Istanbul to split the proceeds. A flashback reveals that Tranter, Karalis, and Rahim first met ten years earlier in Afghanistan during a mission involving land mines.
