Full plot (contains spoilers)
In Budapest, former Australian Special Forces Corporal Edward Rutledge and his mercenaries acquire a $70 million cryptocurrency wallet by drugging a woman. Meanwhile, US President Danielle Sutton, an Army veteran, brings her children to the G20 summit in Cape Town, South Africa, to announce a digital currency plan for farmers. Rutledge's men ambush the summit, seizing the hotel and taking leaders hostage. Sutton and Agent Manny Ruiz escape with several world leaders while Sutton's husband, Derek, rescues their children. Rutledge uses deepfakes to accuse the leaders of corruption and manipulate the crypto market. Sutton and Ruiz navigate the hotel to reach 'the Beast' presidential limo. Rutledge executes the Australian and South Korean leaders. Sutton eventually surrenders to save her husband and Treasury Secretary Worth, but Rutledge uses her image in a final deepfake that crashes the American economy. After Rutledge shoots Derek and is stabbed by Han, a strike team rescues the hostages. Sutton realizes Worth is in league with Rutledge. Rutledge attempts to escape by helicopter with Sutton's daughter, Serena, but Sutton tackles him out of the helicopter to his death. In the aftermath, Worth is incarcerated, and Sutton's plan is adopted by the G20.
