Gantz - Perfect Answer (2011)

In the second part, Kei Kurono is now a seasoned fighter in Gantz’s service, determined to reach the 100 points needed to bring his friend Masaru Katō back to life, after he died on a previous mission. Alongside these deadly battles, Kei tries to maintain a normal life, working at a fast-food restaurant and looking after his friend’s orphaned younger brother, while also pursuing a relationship with Tae Kojima. Meanwhile, Mashamitsu Shigeta, a tenacious investigator, follows the trail of the disappearances and gathers evidence on behalf of a clandestine group led by the enigmatic Kurofu Ichi, whose goal is to uncover the secret of Gantz and get hold of the sphere. Faced with the first malfunctions in its system and aware that it is being hunted, Gantz makes contact with Eriko Ayukawa, a model tasked with acting as a recruiter. Her mission is to lead four key individuals to the room where the main sphere lies. Gradually, Eriko discovers that she has already carried out certain missions without retaining any memory of them. The situation takes a turn when the extraterrestrials stop hiding and attack openly, while Gantz’s anomalies multiply. Hunted by Ichi’s group, Eriko must carry out one final mission: eliminate a target and bring a new player onto the team, Tae Kojima, the woman Kei loves.
