To his surprise, he takes a liking to the spirited young musician, who fearlessly stands up to him.

Full plot (contains spoilers)

The eccentric Phillip lives in seclusion in his own curious world. During the day, he examines banknotes for authenticity in the basement of the central bank. He spends his evenings at the bar of a local cabaret venue, where he sees his judgment confirmed: people are completely out of their minds! But when Lina, a blind cellist, stumbles into his table and into his life, Phillip’s world is thrown off balance. To his surprise, he takes a liking to the young musician, who fearlessly and spiritedly stands up to him despite her disability. Pleasantly unsettled, he returns home, only to be finally torn from his orderly routine: his apartment has been completely cleared out—except for his ironing machine, but including his tortoise, Paul. And so Phillip can no longer refuse to engage with life.
