The story
Hispavia, a struggling low-cost airline, faces a crisis: its accounts are wrong and its planes are grounded. Hoping to save the company, it hires two specialists at once—an acclaimed airline consultant and an unemployed expert mechanic. Both are named Javier García, and a mix-up leads the company to mistake one for the other. The mechanic is treated like an executive, welcomed by the owner and placed in luxury hotels, while the consultant finds himself in the hangar in greasy work clothes. Each is left to take on the other’s responsibilities as the confusion unfolds.

Hispavia, a low-cost airline on its last legs, is in serious trouble. Its books do not add up, and its planes do not fly. In a desperate attempt to save the company, they decide to hire both a prestigious airline consultant and an unemployed expert mechanic at the same time. Both men are called Javier García. A mix-up caused by coincidence and the company’s disorganization leads them to be mistaken for each other and switch roles. While the mechanic is looked after by the company’s owner and put up in luxury hotels, the executive ends up in the hangar, dressed in a greasy coverall. Perplexed and unsure what is going on, each takes on the other’s duties, until the two Javier Garcías meet and discover the mistake.
