Henry Brogan, a 51-year-old former Force Recon Marine Scout Sniper, retires after a mission in Belgium. While in hiding, he learns that his former agency and a rogue private military company, GEMINI, are hunting him. He teams up with Danielle "Danny" Zakarewski, a fellow agent, and eventually discovers that his primary pursuer is a clone named Junior. After traveling to Hungary and uncovering the truth about GEMINI's cloning project, Henry realizes that Junior is a clone designed to be a pain-free soldier. The two eventually form an uneasy alliance to take down the ruthless Clay Verris. After a final confrontation where they defeat a mindless, emotionless clone and force Junior to choose his path, Henry helps Junior establish a new life under a different identity, while Henry and Danny plan for the boy's future.
