The story
Across three episodes, the film follows people in different circumstances. In “The Greek Ship,” a husband earns his living collecting cardboard from the sea, while his wife has driven the household to madness. In “The Order,” Kurdish boy Hafez Pakdel leaves his homeland to earn a living and continue his education, beginning work as a guard at the country’s southernmost point. In “The Door,” an old man shoulders a worn wooden door, the only thing he has left, and sets out across the desert with his daughter and a goat. A postman arrives with a letter for him.
