The story

The Marshall family of Georgia has rented an old house in New York, where youngest daughter Melinda is due to make her singing debut at Carnegie Hall. Unfortunately for her, next door is a nightclub, where Ole Olsen and Chic Johnson perform their zany routines with gun shots, airborne props, and trap doors.
