An organic farmer's life takes a dangerous turn when he discovers his new date is a secret agent caught in an international conspiracy.
The story
At a Washington, D.C. farmers' market, Sadie Rhodes, a lonely professional who travels often, meets Cole Turner, a romantic agricultural author. They share an enjoyable all-night date, but when Cole's texts go unanswered, he suspects she is 'ghosting' him. After tracking her location to London, he travels there to surprise her. However, his arrival leads to a chaotic situation where he is abducted by arms dealers who mistake him for a legendary CIA operative. He is rescued by Sadie, who reveals her true identity as a secret agent. The two are forced to work together to navigate a dangerous international adventure involving a stolen bioweapon.
Full plot (contains spoilers)
After being rescued by Sadie in Pakistan, the pair discovers they are being hunted by Leveque, a disgraced French Intelligence agent seeking a passcode for a stolen bioweapon called 'Aztec'. They meet Marco, a contact who warns Cole that Sadie prioritizes missions over lives. After a series of skirmishes with bounty hunters, Sadie decides to use Cole as bait to recover the weapon. They are eventually separated, but Cole manages to rescue Sadie on Socotra Island. Following a period of recovery and a stint at CIA headquarters, Cole is convinced to resume his role as 'the Taxman' to lure Leveque into a trap. They eventually team up in a high-stakes confrontation at a revolving restaurant. During a frantic gunfight, they successfully defeat Leveque's men and secure the Aztec device. The film ends with the two rekindling their relationship and deciding to travel together while pursuing their respective careers.
