Three retirees team up to rob a bank after their pensions are canceled by a corporate buyout.

The story

Joe, Willie, and Albert are senior citizens and lifelong friends in Brooklyn who find themselves facing financial ruin when their pensions are canceled during a corporate restructuring. After Joe witnesses a bank robbery, he originates the idea to rob the bank to take back what is rightfully theirs. Despite initial hesitation, the trio agrees to the plan once they realize the bank intends to steal their pensions. They seek out help from Joe's former son-in-law and a professional criminal to teach them the ropes, planning to use a local lodge's carnival as a cover for their heist.

Full plot (contains spoilers)

Joe, Willie, and Albert are senior citizens and lifelong friends in Brooklyn. During a bank visit, Joe witnesses a robbery and notices the leader has a Mongol warrior tattoo. Later, their pensions are canceled due to a corporate buyout, leaving Joe facing homelessness and Willie facing terminal kidney failure. Inspired by the robbery, the trio decides to rob the bank. They seek training from Joe's former son-in-law, Peter Murphy, and a criminal named Jesús. Disguised as 'The Rat Pack,' they successfully rob the bank of over $2.3 million using blanks. They are nearly caught by FBI Agent Hamer, but a child witness, Lucy, refuses to identify them. Willie is near death until Albert agrees to donate a kidney. The trio shares the money with their families and friends. It is revealed that Jesús was the original robber Joe witnessed, and his tattoo was fake henna. The film ends with Albert and Annie's wedding.
