Chuck must navigate his feelings for Cam while dealing with the unintended consequences of his curse and the pressure of his public persona.
Full plot (contains spoilers)
In 1985, 10-year-old Charlie 'Chuck' Logan is hexed by a goth girl named Anisha Carpenter after refusing her advances, causing any woman who sleeps with him to find their 'one true love.' In the present, Chuck is a dentist who discovers this curse is active. While trying to date Cam Wexler, a penguin scientist, he realizes that women are falling in love with others after being with him. His best friend Stu encourages him to indulge in 'guilt-free sex' to test the curse. After a series of failed attempts to prove the curse doesn't work on others, Chuck becomes desperate. He tries to smother Cam with attention, leading her to dump him. Chuck eventually tracks down Anisha to have her remove the hex. She refuses, telling him to let go of Cam if he truly loves her. Chuck arranges for Cam to meet a penguin expert, but she leaves for Antarctica. He gives her a ring box with a pebble, and they reconcile. A year later, they are together in Antarctica. In the end credits, Stu and his new fiancée discover a bizarre sex tape featuring Chuck, Cam, and a stuffed penguin.
