The story

Her decision is opposed by her mother and her loyal driver, Ali, and she is deeply distressed by her separation from her young son. Because she is involved with a non-Muslim and has left her husband, she believes she has no legal chance of regaining custody. When Gabriel, an undocumented worker at the site, discovers a tunnel leading to ancient Christian catacombs, Dounia begins to see a possible way to get her son back and leave Morocco.
