Full plot (contains spoilers)

The four friends Nanna, Karen, Lasse, and Jørn find a cash box containing 811,000 Danish kroner in the forest. Excitedly, the children wonder what they could do with all that money. It soon turns out that the money came from a post office robbery in nearby Nærum. They therefore decide to wait and hide the money. Since Nanna has lost her library card at the spot where the robber originally hid the money, he quickly picks up the children’s trail. The four friends soon find themselves caught up in a game of cat and mouse as a mysterious man wearing glasses with dark lenses—the robber—hunts them down and kidnaps Karen, who is visually impaired. The children turn to the police, but the police do not believe them. So they decide to solve the case themselves. After a few complications, the friends finally manage to catch the robber and free Karen.
