The story
Paramedic Maddie and her husband Frank are jolted into action when their eighteen-year-old daughter, Alice, calls in a panic after striking a girl on the remote Hallow Road. While the parents attempt to guide Alice through the immediate aftermath of the accident, the situation becomes increasingly tense as they navigate the legal and moral implications of the crash. The family's internal conflicts are exposed as they struggle to manage the crisis while Alice remains in a state of distress, and the presence of a mysterious stranger nearby adds a layer of danger to their desperate situation.
Full plot (contains spoilers)
After Alice calls her parents claiming she hit a girl on Hallow Road, Maddie and Frank attempt to guide her through the aftermath. During the call, it is revealed Alice is under the influence of drugs and the family is already strained by her pregnancy. A mysterious woman appears at the scene, whose demeanor turns threatening. When the parents finally reach the location, they find a body and a horrifying twist: the woman claims she is 'correcting' girls like Alice. The film ends with the police treating the body as Alice, concluding that the parents' later contact with her was a trauma-induced delusion.
