Full plot (contains spoilers)

The film is set mainly in Frankfurt am Main and Kronberg im Taunus. Turkish-descent private detective Kemal Kayankaya is visited by Ilter Hamul, who hires him to find the murderer of her husband, Ahmed. She no longer trusts the German police. Pretending to be from the Turkish embassy, Kemal makes inquiries at the police station. But when his real identity comes to light, they refuse to give him any further information. While investigating his client Ilter’s family, he discovers that Ahmed’s late father-in-law, Yasif Hamul, had introduced him to the drug trade. The two dealt drugs together. Ahmed also got Ilter’s sister, Ayşe, hooked on drugs. From Hanna Hecht, a drug-addicted prostitute, Kemal learns that she, too, was supplied with drugs by Ahmed and Yasif, and that she therefore had an affair with Yasif. Retired detective Theobald Löff helps Kemal with his investigation. Kemal discovers that Detective Futt had blackmailed Yasif into dealing drugs. A girl from Kronberg who found out about this had to die. When Yasif wanted to leave the drug trade, he died in a mysterious car accident for which Futt was also responsible. Kemal tells the family that Ahmed was also killed by Futt. In reality, however, Ahmed was murdered by his brother-in-law, Yılmaz, to avenge his drug-addicted sister.
