Harry Potter must complete his quest to find and destroy Lord Voldemort's Horcruxes to end the threat of the dark wizard once and for all.

The story

Following the events of the previous installment, Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger continue their perilous quest to locate and destroy the remaining Horcruxes—objects containing pieces of Lord Voldemort's soul. The trio must navigate dangerous environments, including the high-security Gringotts bank, while evading the dark wizard's forces. As the final confrontation approaches, the trio must navigate the complexities of the wizarding world to ensure Voldemort is destroyed once and for all. The film serves as the final chapter in the epic saga, culminating in a massive battle at Hogwarts.

Full plot (contains spoilers)

After breaking into Gringotts to find a Horcrux in Bellatrix Lestrange's vault, the trio escapes on a dragon. They later discover a Horcrux at Hogwarts and enter the school via a secret passage. Inside, they face off against Severus Snape and search for the diadem of Rowena Ravenclaw. During a massive battle at Hogwarts, Harry learns that Voldemort's snake, Nagini, is the final Horcrox. Snape dies while protecting Harry, revealing his role as a double agent. Harry enters a limbo state where he meets Dumbledore's spirit before returning to the battle. He reveals himself to be alive, and the trio destroys the final Horcrux. Harry destroys the Elder Wand after realizing its true master. The film ends with a jump to nineteen years later, showing the original cast's children departing for Hogwarts.
