The story
Patrick Walker is a homicide detective, estranged from his family and on the payroll of a wealthy real estate tycoon. When a local gang of thieves, including a young man named Charlie, steals a shipment of cocaine hidden in washing machines, they become targets of both the law and the criminal underworld. After a violent confrontation at a Triad hideout, Walker is ordered by the tycoon to find Charlie. Walker must navigate a dangerous landscape of narcotics detectives, rival gang members, and the powerful Triad organization to locate the missing pair before they are caught in the crossfire of a brewing gang war.

Patrick Walker, a homicide detective on the payroll of tycoon Lawrence Beaumont, is tasked with finding Charlie, the son of a local gang member who is accused of murdering a Triad leader named Tsui. Charlie and his girlfriend Mia are fleeing with a shipment of cocaine after a violent raid on a Triad hideout. Walker, working with his rookie partner Ellie, tracks them while navigating a conflict involving a narcotics squad and the Triads. It is revealed that the narcotics squad, led by Vincent, was actually trying to hijack the cocaine for themselves in league with Ching, Tsui's jealous uncle. After a series of bloody confrontations and a massive siege at a remote cabin, the truth of the betrayal is revealed. Ching is exposed as the mastermind behind Tsui's death. In the final chaos, Lawrence dies protecting Charlie, and the various factions are decimated. Walker ultimately faces off against Vincent in a final confrontation, leaving his own fate uncertain as the police arrive.
