A social media influencer attempts to turn the school's least popular young man into a prom king to redeem her public image.
The story
Padgett Sawyer is an influencer in her final year of high school who hides her modest living conditions from her followers. After a live stream of her discovering her boyfriend's infidelity results in a loss of sponsorships, she accepts a bet to transform Cameron Kweller, the school's least popular young man, into the prom king. To get closer to him, Padgett convinces him to give her horse riding lessons. As she works to improve his appearance and social standing, she begins to develop genuine feelings for him, while struggling to maintain her public persona.

Padgett Sawyer, a high school influencer, hides her poverty from her followers. When she catches her boyfriend Jordan cheating on a live stream, she loses her sponsors. To fix her image, she bets she can turn the antisocial photographer Cameron Kweller into prom king. She befriends his sister Brin to learn about him and convinces Cameron to give her horse riding lessons. As Padgett improves Cameron's style and social life, she falls for him. However, her best friend Alden eventually reveals Padgett's plot to Cameron, making him believe her interest was fake. On prom day, Padgett's mother encourages her to be herself. Padgett live streams a speech confessing her truth and declines the Prom Queen title. She finds Cameron outside the school, where they share a kiss. Padgett eventually regains her following by starting a new social media direction traveling the world with Cameron.
