Herzklang - Zurück zu mir (2026)

Schlager singer Melanie “Melli” Buchauer is enjoying success on her current tour. Her boyfriend Marc, who also writes her songs, is planning ever larger concerts. She is not sure she wants that, and her colleague Udo Herzog also warns her against letting herself be worked to exhaustion. She would also like to write her own songs. After a concert, she catches Marc in flagrante backstage. Melanie then flees to her home region of Carinthia, also because she cannot reach her grandmother Annabell by phone and is worried about her. In fact, Annabell has injured herself, needs surgery, and now requires help running her mountain farm. Her father Jakob offers to help, but Annabell blames him for her daughter having moved away. Melanie therefore takes over the work at her grandmother’s farm. Back home, she meets Ben, a ranger with Hohe Tauern National Park who gave up his former, well-paid job for work in nature. Ben also looks after Richard, who has lived in seclusion since an accident a few years ago—an accident he blames himself for—and brings him groceries. Her manager Nina wants to know what will happen to Melanie’s career and who will write her songs. Marc threatens to demand compensation payments if he is no longer involved. After an explosion, Melli and Ben set out to find two men carrying out blasts on the mountain in search of rock crystal. On the mountain, Ben and Melli grow closer. The explosions also threaten Richard’s farm. Ben and his colleague Heidi go to the police about the blasts, but find no support there. Heidi also warns Ben about Melli, saying she is not being honest with him. Marc tries to win Melli back and proposes to her. He already introduces himself to Ben as her fiancé. Ben is disappointed in Melli. However, she then ends her relationship with Marc once and for all. He tries to blackmail her, telling her she needs him to write her next hit. But by then she is working on her own songs. Further blasts threaten Richard’s farm, and his house is struck by a huge boulder. Richard is injured. Together with her father and Ben, Melli gives a benefit concert on the alpine pasture for Richard, performing her own songs. It is streamed online and raises more money than hoped for. Udo Herzog is thrilled with her song and wants to do a duet with her. Ben and Melanie eventually kiss.
