The story
Maria de Medeiros is making a tribute documentary about veteran actress Micheline Presle, who tells her about a wartime film she acted in but has never seen because it was never released. The film, Je ne vous aime pas, and its director, Luis Aramchek, are both unknown. With two collaborators, Maria begins tracing them and finds a trailer for another film attributed to Aramchek, Hitler à Hollywood. Her investigation reveals that Aramchek disappeared in 1947 and that copies of all his films were withdrawn. As she pursues the mystery across several European cities and archives, Maria realizes that someone is trying to stop her.
