Full plot (contains spoilers)
The film begins with a flashback to 1653, where the Sanderson sisters are taught by the Mother Witch to use a magic book and warned against the Magicae Maxima spell. In 2022, Becca and Izzy accidentally resurrect the sisters on Becca's 16th birthday. The sisters, seeking to cast the Magicae Maxima spell to rule Salem, target the local mayor. The girls, along with their friend Cassie and the shop owner Gilbert, attempt to stop them. During the conflict, it is revealed that Becca is a natural witch. The sisters eventually cast the spell, becoming all-powerful but causing their sisters to fade. Becca, Cassie, and Izzy join a coven to cast a reuniting spell, allowing Winifred to find peace with her sisters. The film ends with the girls and Gilbert continuing to practice magic while the spirit of the Mother Witch watches from afar.
