Full plot (contains spoilers)
Ohm Bauman, an American author, travels to the Bilberry Woods Hotel in rural Ireland to lay his parents' ashes. He meets staff members and a local man named Jerry. After a mysterious incident where Ohm survives a suicide attempt, he learns that a staff member, Fiona, has gone missing. He joins Jerry to investigate the 'haunted' honeymoon suite. Inside, Ohm experiences visions of his mother and a past tragedy. He discovers Fiona's corpse and learns she was murdered by the desk clerk, Mal, who hid her in the suite. As the hotel is closed for the season, a fire breaks out. Ohm and Jerry are forced to navigate the burning building while being hunted by Mal and a supernatural witch. In the climax, Mal is captured by the witch and taken to the underworld. Ohm manages to escape the fire with the help of the groundskeeper, Fergal, and eventually finds himself in a hospital where he reflects on his work and the supernatural experiences he endured.
