Hors limites (2024)

Andréas Meyer has an appointment with Thierry Fortin, a former college friend who has since become a senior executive at Vivance, at a hotel in the ski resort. As soon as he arrives, he learns that Fortin has just been murdered, thrown into the void from a chairlift. It turns out that Vivance is ruled with an iron fist by Franciska Durer, Andréas Meyer’s childhood sweetheart, who chose Thierry Fortin over him 25 years ago. Constance Vivier, from the high-mountain gendarmerie unit, tells Captain Bronzi of the Chamonix research section, who is in charge of the investigation, that Vivance’s executives had been caught in an avalanche a year earlier, in which one of their number had died, along with the guide. To Captain Bronzi, every lead points to Franciska Durer.
