The story
Karan Kapoor, a cartoonist who explores gender dynamics through his comic strip, meets Rhea Prakash, a practical and strong-willed woman, on a flight from Delhi to New York City. During a layover in Amsterdam, their clashing personalities lead to friction, culminating in a moment of tension where Karan misreads Rhea's boundaries. Despite the initial conflict and a physical altercation, Karan insists they will meet again. The story follows their recurring encounters across different cities and years as they navigate various life milestones and personal challenges.

Karan Kapoor and Rhea Prakash meet on a flight to New York, but their personalities clash during an Amsterdam layover. Six months later, Karan meets Rhea again through his girlfriend Shalini, leading to a breakup between Karan and Shalini. Three years later, Karan finds Rhea in Delhi as a bride-to-be, but they part amicably. Three more years pass, and they meet in Paris; Karan learns Rhea's fiancé, Sameer, died in an accident and resolves to help her heal. Back in Mumbai, Karan tries to set Rhea up with his friend Mihir, but Mihir falls for someone else. Rhea eventually realizes she loves Karan, and they spend the night together. Overwhelmed by guilt, Karan proposes marriage to 'make things right,' but Rhea leaves him, feeling the proposal was for the wrong reasons. A year later, Karan publishes a book mirroring their relationship. Rhea reads it, realizes his love, and they reconcile, eventually marrying and becoming parents.
